  • Our Priest in Charge, the Rev. Lisa O'Rear 
  • (she/her/hers)
​Lisa has a Bachelors of Art (B.A.) in Political Science from DePauw University, a Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) from Bexley Hall Episcopal Seminary. Before attending seminary Lisa practiced law, specializing in poverty law and and child advocacy, in Ohio and Michigan, and served as a manager and non-profit administrator. She was ordained to the priesthood in 2013. Lisa's interests include the priesthood of all believers,  Creation care and Jubilee Gardening, social justice as mission, experiential spiritual formation, outreach, liturgical art, and music. For fun she enjoys painting/drawing, hiking, lifting heavy things, intense dog walking, reading, listening to local original music, and adventures with her daughter and son in law, cats, dog, loved ones, and friends.
